Police have registered a case against four individuals for allegedly issuing death threats to a man and three others after being asked to return ₹7 lakh taken two years ago. The incident occurred on October 1, and the case was filed on Saturday, October 25.
The accused have been identified as Nagar Mohina Imtiaz Jamadar, Mohammad Ghaus Imtiaz Jamadar, Prasad Subhash Sutara, and Vishwanath Subhash Sutara.
The complainant, Dhareppa Sainath Shingalapur of Upparagalli, complained to the Gokak City Police Station, stating that the accused threatened him along with Prakash Shankar Gudaggol, Hanamantha Mallappa Hulyagol, and Manikantha Ramachandra Badeppagol, who were supporting him at the time.
Gokak City Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation.
