Heavy Rain Disrupts First Day of Kittur Utsava in Channamma’s Kittur

Heavy rainfall on Friday afternoon disrupted the opening day of the Kittur Utsava in Channamma’s Kittur, Belagavi district, causing significant inconvenience to the Vijaya Jyoti Yatra and the participating art troupes. The downpour forced attendees to rush for shelter while trying to view the evening stage programs, and it also interfered with the livestock exhibition, which was being organized for the first time during the festival. Visitors were hesitant to walk around the goods exhibition pavilions due to the wet conditions, and traders who had come to the event to conduct business faced similar obstacles. Rain also fell in Savadatti, Yaragatti, Munavalli, M.K. Hubballi, and Hirebagewadi, resulting in cooler weather in these areas.
