The construction of the 4th Railway Underpass at Angol in Belagavi city is scheduled to take place from June 20, 2025, to June 19, 2026. In light of the year-long project, traffic diversions have been announced to ensure public safety and enable the smooth progress of the work.
Alternative routes have been designated as follows:
- From Angol to BEMCO: All types of vehicles must proceed via D.V.S. Chowk → Harimandir Road → Anagol Naka → 3rd Railway Gate Overbridge, and then join Khanapur Road.
- From Khanapur to Anagol via BEMCO Circle and 4th Railway Gate: Vehicles should take the diversion from BEMCO Circle → 3rd Railway Gate Overbridge → Anagol Naka → Harimandir Road to reach their destination.
The Belagavi City Police have requested the public to follow the advised routes and extend cooperation during the construction period.
