Sri Ram Sene founder Pramod Muthalik has called for IPL organisers to provide ₹1 crore in compensation to each of the families affected by the recent stampede during RCB’s victory celebrations.
Speaking to the media, Muthalik questioned the disparity, stating, “Players make crores, organisers earn thousands of crores—yet fans who die celebrating are forgotten. This is exploitation disguised as sport.”
He insisted that the event organisers be held accountable and urged politicians to stop their blame games. “Fans are the reason these players thrive. Instead of political mudslinging, demand a fair investigation into this tragedy,” he added.
