In a tragic incident, a 22-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide in Sambra village near Belagavi on Thursday.
The deceased, Janhavi from Hassan, was pursuing her studies at a private college in Belagavi while residing at her uncle’s residence in Sambra.
Before ending her life by hanging from a ceiling fan, Janhavi reportedly wrote several emotional messages on the wall with a black pencil. The writings included statements like: “No one trusts me,” “I say goodbye to my friends,” “Nobody troubled me,” and “I will take a rebirth as a good daughter and take care of my parents.” She also mentioned not having eaten for three days and expressed that her relatives didn’t treat her well.
A case has been registered at the Malmaruti police station, and investigations are ongoing.
