In a devastating incident on Monday evening in Balkrishna Nagar, Vadgaon, 8-year-old Aarush Mahesh Modekar lost his life after being crushed by a tractor.
Aarush had accompanied his mother to Vadgaon to attend a relative’s wedding. While playing with other children, he was caught under the rear wheel of a moving tractor transporting soil. The impact was fatal, and he died instantly.
The accident occurred around 7 PM, bringing the wedding celebrations to a halt. The Shahapur police have filed a case against the tractor driver concerning the incident.
