A truck carrying workers to an MGNREGA worksite overturned near Hosur on the Belagavi-Hukkeri State Highway on Thursday, leaving at least 29 people injured.
All the injured were admitted to a hospital and are reported to be out of danger.
According to the police, the workers were traveling from Yamakanamaradi to Hidkal for work. A case is being registered in connection with the incident.
