The owner of a baby goat, himself a farmer, was astonished to find the goat producing milk despite not being pregnant or having given birth. This surprising phenomenon has led to speculation that 45 other baby goats are also miraculously producing milk.
Annappa’s mother goat had delivered two kids, a male and a female. While caring for them, Annappa’s uncle noticed that the female kid’s udder had developed an abscess. Concerned, he called a local doctor, and unexpectedly, milk started flowing from the udder.
A goat that is one-and-a-half-months-old, owned by Annappa Babu Naika from Kallotti village in Athani taluk, is producing milk despite not having been pregnant. Another unusual aspect is that this goat has only two teats, yet it is yielding milk that is fit for consumption.
Veterinarians explain that this rare occurrence can happen in many goats due to hormonal changes, dispelling any belief in a divine miracle among farmers.
