A man was killed and a woman severely injured after the woman’s husband attacked them with a machete upon seeing them riding a motorcycle in Karnataka’s Laxmeshwar village, Gokak taluk, on Monday morning. The incident caused fear and alarm in the village.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Bhimashankar Guled reported that Amogh Dhavaleshwar attacked his wife Shilpa and Moulasab Yasin Momine with a machete upon seeing them riding a motorcycle. Yasin Momine died instantly, while Shilpa sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized.
Police have apprehended Dhavaleshwar, and senior police officers have visited the scene. The Kulgod police are currently handling the investigation.
