On Sunday, a fatal road accident occurred near Handigund village close to Raibag in Belgaum district, resulting in the death of two individuals. Their vehicle collided with an electricity pole and flipped over.
Mahaling Ninganur, aged 47, and Eerappa Ugare, aged 32, lost their lives in the incident. Rajesab Sanadi, who was also in the vehicle, sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at a private hospital in Haroorgeri. The driver, H.S. Pathan, is reported to be missing, according to the police. A case has been filed in connection with the incident.
