Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated and delivered a speech at the 18th Foundation Day event of the Indian Council of Medical Research- National Institute of Traditional Medicine (ICMR-NITM) in Belgaum on Monday, May 27, 2024.
Dhankhar received recognition for his thorough understanding of the organization’s operations. Governor Thawarchand Gehlot was also present among other dignitaries.
Encouraging the students to prioritize the nation, Vice President urged them not to let financial motives overshadow their service to humanity. During the 14th Convocation ceremony, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Honorable Vice-President, and Dr. Smt. Sudesh Dhankhar planted a sapling at the JNMC campus. Addressing the graduating students, the Vice-President noted that their impressive academic achievements would contribute to the nation’s progress and position them as key contributors to India’s development narrative.
Encouraging the students to drive significant transformation for a developed India by 2047, he emphasized the importance of India reclaiming its historical eminence and striving to become the world’s most advanced nation by that year. The Vice President advised the students to embrace failure without fear and continue their efforts for societal improvement. He reiterated Swami Vivekananda’s iconic quote: ‘Arise, Awake, and Do not stop until the goal is achieved’.
