Belgaum Health Officials Seal Illegal Hospitals To Crackdown On Fake Doctors

The proliferation of fraudulent medical practitioners is increasing in Karnataka, posing a significant threat to patient safety. Urgent intervention by the Health Department is required to address this issue. Authorities in Belgaum district have taken proactive measures to combat the problem, conducting raids on unlicensed hospitals in Mudalagi taluk. Led by district health officer Dr. Vishwanath Bhovi, officials have closed down a total of four such establishments, including one covertly operating in Yadwad.
