Tilakavadi police arrested an individual linked to the robbery of gold jewelry during events held at Tilakavadi Mahaveer Bhavan and City Hall wedding venues in the city.
Sohail Maula Tashawwal (26) has been apprehended as the suspect. Allegedly, he stole gold jewelry valued at ₹4.1 lakh, comprising 58.4 grams of gold. The accused resides in Ujwalnagar in the vicinity and is accused of infiltrating as a guest at wedding ceremonies held at Tilakavadi Mahaveer Bhavan on the 13th of the previous month and at City Hall on the 21st, where he purportedly pilfered the gold jewelery.
The Tilakwadi police, following a case registration, initiated a search operation for Khadeem. Surveillance footage from the vicinity of the wedding venue was scrutinized by the police. Eventually, they managed to apprehend the suspect. Presently, the accused is in custody, and investigations are underway to determine if Khadeem is linked to other theft incidents.
