The Belgaum District Roller Skating Association is delighted to announce the selection of two exceptionally talented skaters, Yashpal Purohit and Manjunath Mandolkar, to proudly represent India at the prestigious 19th Asian Roller Skating Championship 2023. This eagerly awaited event is scheduled to take place in China from October 16th to 23rd, 2023.
Manjunath Mandolkar, an experienced skater with an impressive 17-year journey in the sport, has consistently demonstrated his prowess. He boasts five national medals and has donned the Karnataka colors in a remarkable fifteen appearances. Hailing from the modest surroundings of Anandwadi Shapur, Belagavi, Manjunath’s selection for this international competition stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to the world of skating.
Yashpal Purohit has devoted the past decade of his life to skating. Over the course of six years, he has proudly represented Karnataka and secured a spot in the Indian team camp for the last three years. Yashpal’s tireless dedication and determination have borne fruit, granting him the opportunity to represent India at the esteemed 19th Asian Championship. Yashpal is a resident of Kulkarni Galli, Belagavi.
