On a fateful Tuesday evening, a car’s bonnet suddenly caught fire while it was parked on the premises of the petrol bunk. The swift and commendable actions of the petrol station’s staff, armed with fire extinguishers, played a pivotal role in preventing what could have been a catastrophic event.
The car’s owner, Narendra Birje, hailing from Bharat Nagar in Shahapur, Belagavi, had arrived at the petrol station with the intention of refueling his vehicle with diesel. However, upon discovering the alarming flames engulfing the car’s bonnet, he quickly made a prudent decision to evacuate the area, ensuring his own safety and the safety of others. He wisely took the car keys with him as he fled.
The petrol station’s diligent staff members sprang into action, effectively bringing the blaze under control, thus averting a potential disaster. Simultaneously, the local fire brigade was summoned to the scene. Their prompt arrival and expertise led to the safe removal of the car from the petrol station premises and the complete extinguishing of the fire.
