IPS officer Bheemashankar Guled assumed his role as the new Superintendent of Police for Belagavi district last Friday, taking over from IPS officer Sanjeev Patil at the District Police Office complex in the area.
Dr. Guled, a 2012 batch IPS officer and a qualified MBBS graduate, brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Previously, he has held key roles as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Bengaluru and as the Superintendent of Police in Davangere.
During his tenure, Dr. Guled has pledged to uphold and continue the public helpline program initiated by his predecessor, Dr. Sanjeev Patil.
Meanwhile, Dr. Sanjeev Patil has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Whitefield, Bengaluru.
Adding to the reshuffle, Rohan Jagadeesh, an IPS officer from the 2019 batch, recently assumed the role of Deputy Commissioner of Police in Belagavi.
