BIKAR Aerospace to establish service center at Belagavi Aerospace Cluster

Bikar Aerospace

BIKAR Aerospace GmbH has recently announced its intention to set up an advanced aerospace service center at the Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC), which is operated by Aequs Infrastructure.

Aligned with BIKAR’s objective to enhance its global market influence as a leading supplier of aerospace materials, the company is taking strides towards expansion. Their latest initiative involves providing storage and personalized processing services for semi-finished products crafted from aluminum, titanium, super alloys, and various other metals crucial to the aerospace industry.

In addition, BIKAR Aerospace GmbH is extending its expertise by offering advanced IT solutions. In addition to a comprehensive live order overview facilitated by a traffic light system, the company emphasizes its ability to deliver tailored solutions to meet specific client requirements at any given time.

Alex Bikar, the CEO, expressed the significance of the new branch in Belagavi, stating, “By establishing this facility, we reaffirm our dedication to delivering outstanding services to our clients, while simultaneously fortifying our position in the aerospace industry.”

Positioned strategically, Belagavi serves as an ideal location to cater to aerospace manufacturers situated within India’s aerospace triangle, comprising Belagavi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC) boasts an impressive array of over 30 manufacturing units, while Bengaluru and Hyderabad have firmly established themselves as prominent aerospace manufacturing hubs.

Aravind Melligeri, Chairman and CEO of Aequs, emphasized the integrated manufacturing ecosystem at the BAC, encompassing co-located capabilities that enable an end-to-end value stream in manufacturing. He further highlighted BIKAR’s decision to choose the BAC as a testament to its efficacy and success in providing top-notch services to global aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), offering a comprehensive range of quality services from raw materials to globally recognized capabilities available within the cluster.

With an anticipated operational launch slated for the first quarter of 2024, BIKAR expresses its optimism regarding the new facility’s prospects. This strategic decision underscores the company’s unwavering dedication to augmenting its presence in the aerospace industry and broadening its international reach. By expanding its global footprint, BIKAR aims to reinforce its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the aerospace sector.
