Minister Satish Jarakiholi addressed the technical issue encountered during the application process for Griha Jyoti Yojana, emphasizing that it is a minor inconvenience and should not be blown out of proportion. Griha Jyoti Yojana, one of the five key assurances promised by the Congress government, has recently been made available for online applications. However, certain regions are experiencing server problems, hindering the smooth submission of applications. Minister Satish Jarakiholi has provided his perspective on this matter, acknowledging the issue and offering reassurances.
Minister Satish Jarakiholi emphasized the need for patience and time to address server issues encountered during the application process for guarantee schemes. He clarified that resolving these problems cannot be an immediate fix, considering that the government has been in power for just 15 days. Even in the case of technical difficulties, it is expected to take at least two or three months for the issues to be resolved. The deadline for applications has not yet been announced, so individuals who are unable to access the server today will have the opportunity to apply tomorrow. Minister Jarakiholi encouraged everyone to proceed and submit their applications without worry.
The BJP has expressed concerns and raised objections regarding the rice procurement process, highlighting minor issues that are currently present. However, the government assures that these matters will be addressed promptly and efficiently. The distribution of rice to the underprivileged remains a top priority, unaffected by any political affiliations, including those of the BJP. Merely protesting or engaging in conflicts within the Lok Sabha will not provide a solution to the problem at hand. The government emphasizes that productive discussions have already taken place with several states, and it is important to grant them the necessary time to implement effective measures. Rest assured, the government is committed to fulfilling its responsibility of distributing rice to those in need.
There is a growing trend of utilizing rice for ethanol production, and the central government is actively promoting and encouraging this practice. However, it is essential for the government to consider the implications of diverting rice towards ethanol instead of utilizing it as a food source. The increase in the current bill is a common occurrence that happens annually, and it is worth noting that while the bill may have increased during the tenure of the BJP government, its implementation occurred after the current government assumed power.

It has been confirmed by the party that Siddaramaiah will indeed hold the position of CM, and there is no indication of it being a part-time role. The confidence in Siddaramaiah’s continued leadership stems from the fact that no one has suggested or hinted at the CM position being shared or divided. He mentioned that the decision ultimately rests with the party high command. Additionally, he expressed his intention to apply for the post of CM in the next term, emphasizing his aspirations beyond the current term.
