MLA Viththal Halagekar Launches Solar Power Campaign at Khanapur HESCOM Office

A campaign under the Seva Setu Abhiyan (Service Bridge Campaign) will be held at the HESCOM office in Khanapur town until Sunday, providing residents with information and guidance on installing solar power units on their homes, MLA Viththal Halagekar stated. The initiative was inaugurated on Friday at the same location, where Halagekar explained that under the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (Prime Minister’s Free Electricity for Solar Homes Scheme), applicants for solar units will receive detailed explanations from solar vendors and bank officials regarding the installation process. He encouraged citizens of the taluk to adopt solar power to achieve electricity savings and other benefits. HESCOM Executive Engineer Praveen Baragale presided over the event, while HESCOM customer Eeranna Vastrada provided details on solar power units. Attendees included Ravi Kadagi, Mahesh Kodoli, Bharatesh Naganoor, Dharmadas, Siddhu Angadi, and Javed Nayakwadi.
