Belagavi Ladies (BeLa) honored 130 teachers from Belagavi district at a ceremony held at the Foundry Cluster. The awardees were chosen from 1,098 applicants, and the event featured Bollywood actor Sudesh Berry and BeLa chief executive Lakshmi Khilari presenting the accolades.
In a release, Khilari recalled losing her father at a young age and said the ceremony was more than a formal event, describing it as an expression of gratitude and explaining that BeLa wanted to honour teachers for their profound influence on her journey.
