The right arm of the equestrian statue of Rani Channamma, located near the National Highway in Kitturu, Belagavi district, snapped off on Monday evening. Taluk administration officials repaired the damage and reattached the arm by Tuesday morning.
Tahsildar Kalagoud Patil stated that experts were contacted immediately upon learning of the incident. Specialists from Hubballi and Savadatti arrived to begin the reattachment work, which was completed by Tuesday morning.
