In a distressing turn of events at the Belgaum DC office, a 23-year-old man, identified as Kumar K from Lagameshwar village in Gokak taluk of Belgaum district, made a desperate attempt on his life by consuming phenyl.
Following the suicide attempt within the premises of the Belgaum DC’s office, the young man was swiftly taken to the district hospital in critical condition by the Belgaum Market Police.
The motive behind this unfortunate incident, which occurred at the market police station, remains unknown. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as the young man receives medical attention at the district hospital.
