A 37-year-old homemaker was seriously injured in a road accident reported in Belagavi on Tuesday.
The injured, identified as Harshita Raymane, sustained injuries to her head, face and hands after a car collided with her two-wheeler near Samadevi Galli.
In her complaint, she alleged that the car driver, Chetan Koravinakoppa, was driving rashly and negligently and hit her vehicle from behind.
She is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Police said her condition is serious but stable, and a case has been registered.
