Twenty under-trial prisoners, including notorious rowdy Wilson Gordon Naga, also known as Nagaraj, were transferred to Hindalaga Central Jail in Belagavi on Sunday. This transfer is related to special treatment being extended to actor Darshan and other rowdies at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. The prisoners were moved under heavy security.
A viral photo from Parappana Agrahara Jail showed actor Darshan holding a coffee cup in one hand and a cigarette in the other, alongside Wilson Gordon Naga, Kulla Seena, and Darshan’s manager Nagaraja. Three FIRs were filed in connection with the alleged preferential treatment. Following this, Darshan was moved to Bellary Jail with court approval, and now Naga has been relocated.
The hearing of actor Darshan’s bail application in the Renukaswamy murder case is scheduled for Monday. His lawyer applied to the 57th CC Court on Saturday, with the judge issuing a notice to the prosecution and adjourning the hearing to September 23.
