A car traveling from Belagavi to Khanapur caught fire near Shahapur on Sunday noon on the outskirts of Belagavi. The driver, noticing flames emerging from the engine, acted swiftly and escaped without any injuries.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze, preventing further damage to the partially burned vehicle. The Belagavi Rural Police have taken up the investigation to identify the cause of the fire.
Authorities are examining the vehicle to determine if the fire stemmed from a mechanical fault or other reasons. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
