Nine individuals from two different gangs have been apprehended by the Belagavi Police on charges of dacoity, with confiscated valuables totaling ₹8 lakh. These two criminal groups were implicated in dacoity and house break-in thefts within the Gokak and its neighboring areas.
The commencement of the investigation followed a complaint lodged by Gurunath Badiger of Gokak, who had fallen victim to a knife-point robbery in Kanasageri village back in September.
The arrests were executed by dedicated teams under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police D.H. Mulla, accompanied by Sub-Inspector Gopal Rathod, Kiran Mohit, M.D. Ghori, H. Yarazarvi, and other law enforcement personnel.
In light of their commendable efforts, Superintendent of Police Bheemashankar Guled extended his congratulations to the investigative teams.
