Sana Talikoti, the daughter of Karim Telgi, the mastermind behind the massive stamp paper scam, alleges that her family’s lawyer has deceived them. She mentioned that they had submitted a formal complaint to the Karnataka Bar Council, urging them to disqualify S.K. Nandagadi. This action was prompted by his alleged transfer of certain properties belonging to her father to her uncle in exchange for compensation.
Talikoti further explained that her father, Telgi, had invested funds to acquire six acres of land under the ownership of her uncle, Abdul Azeem. Addressing reporters in her hometown of Khanapur on Thursday, she stated that Mr. Nandagadi possessed all the pertinent property documents.
She expressed that when her father was incarcerated, the advocate facilitated the transfer of the land to Mr. Azeem, leading to their betrayal. Additionally, she noted that the advocate is currently siding with her uncles instead. She further mentioned that she has submitted a set of documents, totaling 555 pages, to the Bar Council.
Mr. Nandagadi mentioned that he has been served notice from the Bar Council following her complaint. He asserted that all accusations against him are unfounded, stating that he has not committed any wrongdoing or breached anyone’s trust. He assured that he will respond to the notice accordingly.
