A troubling event has emerged from the Nehru Nagar area of Belagavi, where a 7-year-old boy narrowly escaped an attempted abduction.
The child, tempted by the promise of chocolate near the back of Hotel Ramdev, managed to flee and quickly reported the incident to his parents.
The parents acted promptly, contacting the local police. The CCTV footage from the vicinity verified the attempted kidnapping.
A formal complaint has been lodged at the Market Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing.
