Riyaz Inamdar (47), a BSF personnel from Vijayapura, lost his life in a road accident at Desaratti near Athani in Belagavi district on April 22. His car collided with an NWKRTC bus on the Athani-Vijayapura stretch.
Mr. Inamdar was on leave and visiting relatives at the time of the incident.
Athani police arrived at the scene, and a case is being filed.
