Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally clinched their maiden IPL title in 2025, securing a thrilling 6-run victory over Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3. The long-awaited triumph after 18 years sparked celebrations among fans nationwide.
Marking this historic moment, Vinayak Sutara, an artist from Mole village in Kagawad taluk of Belagavi, garnered widespread attention for his unique tribute. A passionate RCB supporter, Vinayak used 11 pencils at once to sketch portraits of all 11 team members—an extraordinary display of talent and fandom.
Vinayak, known for his portraits of renowned personalities including actors, singers, poets, and freedom fighters, dedicated 15 days to create this artwork. Using a square wooden frame and white paper, he captured the likenesses of Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Phil Salt, Devdutt Padikkal, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal, Suyash Sharma, Tim David, and Liam Livingstone.
This remarkable piece not only commemorates RCB’s title win but also echoes the spirit of their campaign slogan — “This time, the cup is ours.” Vinayak’s creation stands as a lasting tribute to the team’s victory and the passion of its supporters.
