Minister Satish Jarkiholi declared the allocation of five acres of land in the Yamakanamardi constituency to the ‘Mahesh Foundation’ for constructing a new building. Additionally, Rs.10 lakh will be provided to the foundation from CSR funds. “Mahesh Foundation has demonstrated remarkable dedication to its cause. While resources are abundant, efficiently utilizing them is an art, and the foundation has mastered it, serving thousands of underprivileged children. I’m delighted to inaugurate the school and blood bank, for which I’ve facilitated permissions. I pledge my complete support to their mission of establishing a school in the rural area of Yamakanamardi constituency,” Minister Satish Jarkiholi announced it at the inauguration event of Mahesh Foundation’s Utkarsha School and MyBlood Charitable Blood Bank in Kanabargi, Belgaum.
For a decade and a half, Mahesh Foundation has dedicated itself to supporting disadvantaged children. In pursuit of its goal, it founded Utkarsha School, which has been serving HIV-positive and underprivileged children for the last six years. Currently, the Utkarsha Learning Center accommodates 640 children from marginalized backgrounds. Moreover, the foundation launched the MyBlood Charitable Blood Bank, with the objective of delivering timely blood assistance to those requiring it, ultimately benefiting around 18,000 individuals, including HIV-positive children, in the coming years.
Minister Satish Jarkiholi, a prominent leader in Karnataka’s administration and the current Incharge of Belgaum District, participated in the opening ceremony of Mahesh Foundation’s Utkarsha School and MyBlood Charitable Blood Bank. The event was also attended by Shri. Asif Saith, the MLA of Belgaum North, and Youth Leader Shri. Rahul Jarakiholi.

Mr. Mahesh Jadhav, the founder of Mahesh Foundation, conveyed appreciation to Minister Satish Jarakiholi for his unwavering support. “Our dream of providing free education to over 640 children finally materialized with the assistance of Minister Satish Jarakiholi. Similarly, his support in acquiring a license for our Blood Bank, which will benefit 18,000 individuals, is invaluable. We are fortunate to have such a compassionate leader dedicated to public welfare. The children we serve are eager for education, and I am confident they will achieve great things in the future. We pledge to continue our efforts with the same vigor to uplift more children in the days ahead,” he remarked, speaking to the audience.
