Tilakwadi Police launched a raid in Banduragalli, Belgaum, following reliable information about the illegal sale of MDMA drugs. They confiscated 34 grams of MDMA, worth Rs. 3,64,000, and apprehended a local resident named Rizwan Khan. The sale involved the banned substance crystal methamphetamine and was conducted publicly.
An ongoing investigation is underway to determine the source and distribution of the substance held by the apprehended suspect. Led by DCP Rohan Jagadish, the operation signifies the inaugural confiscation of MDMA in Belagavi. Documentation of the case has been completed at the Tilakwadi Police Station.
