Belagavi’s public transport system has significantly upgraded as the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) recently registered 25 brand-new TATA BS-6 city buses at the Regional Transport Office (RTO). Manufactured by IMAC Bengaluru, these buses will be dedicated to city services.
The newly registered buses, numbered KA 22 F 2432 to 2446, have been added to the Belagavi-2 (City Depot) fleet. This follows the addition of 10 new buses last week, along with three buses introduced three months ago on a trial basis. With these latest additions, the total count of brand-new city buses in Belagavi has now reached 28.
This development is set to enhance urban transportation, offering commuters a more comfortable and dependable travel experience within the city.
