On Friday, in Dabadahatti near Athani, a 25-year-old man murdered his 47-year-old uncle amid a dispute over property.
Khandoba Bhosle fatally attacked his uncle, Keshav Bhosle, amidst a family property disagreement. The altercation unfolded after both individuals consumed alcohol at a dhaba near Kokatnur during the night.
According to the police, Khandoba used a stone to fatally injure his uncle’s head. It was revealed that Khandoba’s father had sold a parcel of agricultural land 25 years ago but believed that he had been underpaid for it. Additionally, Keshav expressed interest in purchasing more land from Khandoba’s father but was unwilling to pay a higher price this time around.
The police mentioned that this disagreement upset Khandoba, resulting in the altercation. A case has been filed, and the suspect has been taken into custody.
