On Tuesday, an altercation occurred at Channamma Circle in the city involving a young man assaulting a female manager on duty over change fare. Shobha Gangi, who served as an administrator in the city’s second unit, was the victim of the assault. She previously worked as a bus conductor for urban transport operating between Belgaum and Honaga.
A young passenger traveling on a bus from Yamanapura village engaged in a dispute with the female conductor regarding the fare change. Furthermore, he physically assaulted her by slapping her when she questioned him about his abusive language towards her.
