A tragic incident occurred in Belagavi where an elderly man, who survived by begging, lost his life after being run over by a lorry. The accident occurred at Krishnadevaraya Circle, where the man was begging near the traffic signal.
As the traffic signal turned, the elderly man attempted to cross the road when a lorry ran over him. He was trapped under the wheels and died on the spot. The horrifying visuals of the lorry running over the beggar were captured on CCTV.
