A tragic road accident near Kempegowda Bus Station’s Terminal 3 in Bengaluru claimed the life of Bhushan Patil, a 29-year-old man from Khanapur, Belagavi, on Monday evening.
The accident occurred around 7:15 PM when Bhushan crossed the road near the terminal entrance. An APSRTC bus (AP-04-Z-0208) turning into the terminal struck him, inflicting fatal head injuries. He was rushed to a private hospital in Chickpet but was declared dead upon arrival.
Chamarajapet traffic police have taken the bus driver into custody and registered a case. Bhushan’s occupation and Bengaluru residence remain unknown, and his parents are traveling from Khanapur to provide further details.
