Former Chief Minister and recently elected Member of Parliament for Belgaum, Jagadish Shettar, expressed his commitment to efficiently fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to him by the party. Upon his first visit since winning the Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday, he offered prayers at Sri Siddharoodha Mutt.
Jagadish Shettar, the former Chief Minister and newly elected Member of Parliament for Belgaum, affirmed his dedication to effectively carry out the responsibilities assigned to him by the party. During his initial visit following his victory in the Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday, he paid homage at Sri Siddharoodha Mutt.
Shettar pledged to transform Belgaum into an exemplary Lok Sabha constituency, emphasizing the goals of cleanliness and aesthetic enhancement. Additionally, he vowed to attract numerous industries to rural regions and create employment opportunities for the unemployed, reinforcing his commitments to the electorate.
“The NDA government, led by Narendra Modi at the Centre, will assume power. The people have expressed their preference for the BJP,” he stated. Also in attendance were Shettar’s wife, Shilpa Shettar, former minister Shankar Patil Munenakoppa, MLC Pradeepa Shettar, Hubballi-Dharwad Mahanagar Zilla president Tipanna Majjagi, former mayor Veeranna Savadi, corporator Santosh Chavan, and other dignitaries.
