A sorrowful incident unfolded in Belgaum as a young woman made a desperate attempt to end her life, apparently due to complications related to her marriage. The 28-year-old woman, Sasikala Muralidhar Pammar, who previously resided in Kalamd DLT, District Ramdurg, and presently in Dwarkanagar, Belgaum, was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. Tragically, she passed away while undergoing treatment on Friday the 13th.
Tilakwadi Police Station registered a case against Sasikala’s partner, shedding light on the underlying circumstances. Sasikala had been involved in a relationship with Rajashekhar Hanmant Jarale, a 40-year-old resident of Bijapur, for the past six years. Her persistent requests for marriage went unanswered, which took a toll on her mental well-being.
As a result, she received medical care at a private hospital on October 11. Once Rajasekhar had recuperated, he was summoned to her residence on October 12. However, a renewed altercation unfolded between Sasikala and Rajashekhar. Battling with depression, Sasikala resorted to a tragic suicide attempt by hanging herself within her own home. Sadly, despite medical efforts, she did not survive.
