A 46-year-old farmer sustained injuries after being attacked by two bears on his way to his farm in Belagavi district on Saturday.
The incident took place in Mundawad Gouliwad village, Khanapur taluk, as Vinod Jadhav was heading to his farmland.
Sources say Vinod fought off the bears and managed to escape, though injured. He was later taken to a hospital, where he is recovering.
