A tragic incident unfolded in Chikkanandihalli village of Kittur taluk, where a father and his elder son allegedly killed his younger son following a dispute over marriage.
The victim, identified as 25-year-old Manjunath Nagappa Ullegaddi, had been in love with a young woman, but his family disapproved of the relationship. A year ago, his elder brother, Gurubasappa, got engaged and later married the same woman Manjunath loved. Since then, Manjunath has repeatedly argued with his parents, questioning when he will be allowed to marry.
