On Tuesday, May 30th, a Redbird training aircraft, with a pilot and trainee pilot aboard, was forced to make an emergency landing in a farm field in Belgaum, Karnataka due to a technical malfunction. Both pilots sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Airforce hospital for treatment.
Allegedly, the training aircraft, with a pilot and trainee pilot onboard, departed from Sambra airport in Belgaum at 9:30 am. However, encountering a technical issue while airborne, it made an emergency landing in a farm field at Honnihala village in Belgaum.
