The Gulmohar Belgaum Artists Group is all set to host a five-day art exhibition titled “Why Not Red” in the city of Belagavi starting from Sunday. The event will be inaugurated by Sanjay Chapolkar, the curator of the IIWC Art Gallery in Bengaluru, and will take place at the Kalamaharshi K.B. Kulkarni Art Gallery located at Varerkar Natya Sangha in Tilakwadi.
Adding to the significance of the inauguration, J.B. Phadke, the former principal of the J.N. Bhandari School of Art, and noted art journalist Vishwanath Guggari will also address the audience.
This exhibition will showcase the artistic creations of 45 talented artists, all revolving around the theme of the color red. Visitors can explore these artworks between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., and entry to the exhibition is complimentary. Art enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to interact with the participating artists in the venue’s hall.
