Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the newly constructed Kala Mandir, a cultural and commercial complex developed under the Belagavi Smart City Project, in Tilakwadi, Belagavi on Sunday. The complex, built at an estimated cost of ₹46.6 crore, stands on a 2.1-acre plot where the old Kala Mandir once stood.
The new three-story structure features a multi-level car parking facility, shopping outlets, food courts, cultural auditorium, mini auditorium, family entertainment zones, open spaces, and other community-friendly amenities.
Following this, the CM will attend a Belagavi division-level event at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha to distribute agricultural equipment to beneficiaries under various schemes. Approximately 60 sugarcane harvesting machines will be handed over to farmers during the programme.
Later in the day, he will head to Chikkodi by helicopter to join the centenary celebrations of the Karnataka Yadava, Golla, and Hanabar Association. He will also attend the 16th incarnation ceremony of Yadavanand Swamiji at the district stadium.
Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh, Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi, and Women and Child Welfare Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar will be present for the events, with local MLA Abhay Patil presiding over the inauguration.
