Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar will be initiating a series of developmental projects in Kokatnur village of Athani taluk, within the district.
Their agenda includes the inauguration of a sprawling veterinary college spanning 150 acres in Kokatnur. Additionally, they are set to lay the cornerstone for a range of projects approved by the road transport, minor irrigation, rural development, and panchayat raj departments. Among the highlights will be the unveiling of the statue of Jagajyoti Basavanna in Athani.
Joining the proceedings will be NS Bosaraju, Minister for Minor Irrigation, K Venkatesh, Minister of Animal Husbandry, Ramalinga Reddy, Minister of Road Transport, Satish Jarkiholi, Minister of Public Works Department, and Laxmi Hebbalkar, Minister for Women and Child Welfare.
