A woman in Belgaum has utilized funds from the Griha Lakshmi Yojana to purchase a machine for making savory powder, marking another innovative use of the scheme’s assistance. Minister of Women and Child Welfare, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, inaugurated the machine and the small business of Lakamoji, a resident of Kukadolli village in Belgaum taluk.
The minister expressed her satisfaction, noting that Griha Lakshmi Yojana is helping many women achieve self-sufficiency. Previously, the scheme enabled a woman to buy a fridge, while another used it to purchase a two-wheeler for her son.
This latest example adds to the growing list of ways women are utilizing the Griha Lakshmi funds to improve their livelihoods.
