If someone gets bitten by a snake, people rush to the hospital out of fear. There was an incident where a young man from Belgaum arrived at the hospital after being bitten by a snake. A young man named Shahid was bitten by a snake in Hunchyanatti village in Belgaum taluk. He managed to capture the snake and brought it to the hospital.
Shahid captured the snake that approached the house. As he released it on the hill, the snake bit him. Instead of recapturing it, Shahid placed it back in the box. Shahid had seized the snake that had approached the house. While intending to set it free on the hill, the snake bit him. Shahid refrained from recapturing it and instead placed it back in the box.
After determining the type of snake, assuming medical assistance would be readily accessible, they securely transported the live snake in a box to the Belgaum Civil Hospital. In the box, a live snake was seen, and the hospital staff were shocked. After receiving treatment at the hospital, they returned home on their friends’ bike.
Snakes, like other animals, come to houses or cool places to seek water. There is no need for people to panic as soon as they arrive. About 90% of the snakes that enter homes are not venomous. The common non-venomous snakes found inside houses include common kraits, rat snakes, checkered keelbacks, vine snakes, and so on. It is advisable to take a photo from a distance and send it to wildlife experts for identification. They should guide the course of action until they arrive.
