Responding to the Airport Authority’s request for more land to facilitate the expansion of Sambra Airport, a site examination took place today in the presence of District In-charge Minister Satish Jarakiholi and Minister for Women and Child Development Mrs. Laxmi Hebbalkar.
Our collective commitment to the airport’s growth remains steadfast. Nevertheless, it is imperative that we proceed with caution to prevent any disruption to the neighboring residential areas. Minister Hebbalkar underscored the significance of securing the farmers’ consent before acquiring any additional land.
The inspection drew the participation of several prominent figures, including Rajya Sabha member Eranna Kadadi, MLA Asif Seth, District Collector Nitesh Patila, Airport Authority Director Thyagarajan, Police Commissioner Sidramappa, S.P Bhimashankar Guled, Commissioner Ashok Dudgunti, and DCP Sneha P.
