Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, the Belagavi Police Commissionerate has introduced a single-window system to streamline the process of securing permissions for public Ganesh Utsav celebrations.
From August 1, 2025, organizers can visit the dedicated center, located behind Lingraj College at the Police Commissioner’s Office, to obtain approvals related to pandal setup, sound systems, lighting, and electricity under one roof.
This coordinated effort by the Belagavi City Corporation, Police Department, Fire Services, and other civic bodies aims to reduce delays and eliminate the need for running between departments.
