Belagavi police have detained two juveniles in connection with a sexual assault case involving a minor. A third suspect is reportedly absconding.
Authorities have registered a case under the Juvenile Justice Act and relevant legal provisions.
The alleged incident took place earlier this month, and the complaint was filed several days later. According to police sources, the accused were known to the victim.
An investigation is underway.
